ADULT CLASSES
For ages 13 and up
Adult classes can be booked for birthdays, girls' nights out, community events and bar/restaurant gatherings. Prices are per person, with a 10-person minimum. No artistic skill is required: participants are nurtured for success. Wine is welcome!
NEEDLE FELTING
Woolly whimsies from your imagination
Participants will learn the ups and down of needle felting, using wool roving and a special needle to create a miniature wool sculpture that can be a tree ornament or year-round piece of whimsy. 2 hours. $15 per person.
WET FELTING
Wool, soap, suds
Have good clean fun with wool roving and soap! You'll learn what makes wool shrink, and make wool beads for jewelry and/or a wool flower brooch. 1 hour. $12 per person.
COLLAGED MINI-QUILTS
A Tiny Quilt that Tells a Story
Learn the magic of fusible fabric and make a piece of fiber art. You'll be provided with an array of colorful fabrics, batting and background fabrics to make a 12x12" mini-quilt. Machine and hand sewing is not necessary, but is a possibility if you want to embellish further. $20 per person. 2-3 hours.
FABRIC BANNERS
No-sew! Make a work of art!
Learn the magic of fusible fabric and make a collaged piece of fiber art. You'll be provided with an array of colorful fabrics, templates to trace if you need them, and background fabrics to make a hanging banner. Machine and hand sewing is not necessary, but is a possibility if you want to embellish further. $20 per person. 2-3 hours.
SCULPTED SEWING
Hand-stitch wool into freestanding forms
Learn sculpting and hand-stitching techniques to make miniature sculptures, ornaments or home decorations. Using repurposed wool and other embellishments, you'll sculpt, stuff and stitch a fuzzy whimsy from scratch. Choose from a cupcake, pumpkin, coffee cup, witch's cauldron or house whimsy. $15 per person, 2 hours.
CHILDREN'S CLASSES
For ages 6 and up - ages are specified in class sections.
Children's classes can be booked for community events, at museums and cultural institutions, at schools and libraries and other public settings. Prices are per child, with a 7-student minimum. No artistic skill is required: participants are nurtured for success.
Interested in doing a project at a birthday party? I can provide supplies and instructions for you to offer a simple project on your own.

Have good clean fun with wool roving and soap! Students will learn all about sheep and what makes wool shrink, and make wool beads for jewelry or a keychain. Another option is a three-dimensional flower. 1 hour. $12 per student. Ages 6 and up.
BOOKMAKING
Make a book and write a story!
I have a variety of bookmaking classes for all ages. Make a tiny book that's 2 inches square, or make a painted book from one giant piece of paper. Accordion books, travel journals- whatever inspires your young writer! We'll brainstorm ideas for what to write in it! Ages 6 and up. $12 per student. 1-2 hours.

FABRIC BANNERS & COLLAGE
No-sew or yes, sew! Make a work of art!
Make a mini-quilt or fabric flag without sewing a single stitch! We'll use an array of colorful fabrics, templates to trace if you need them, and other embellishments to make a fabric work of art. $15 per student. 1-2 hours.
POLYMER MINIATURES
Tiny sculptures in tactile clay
We'll work with polymer clay to design one-of-a-kind creatures or miniature foods. Will you make a hero or a villain? An imaginary friend or a well-known beast? You get to decide! $12 per student. 1 hour.
